The special effects in Minority Report hold up, and the plot ranks more imaginative than many of the sci-fi blockbusters that have come out in the previous decade. Tom Cruise's escape in a car factory is as comical as any Indiana Jones adventure sequence. The traffic jam sequence is as over-the-top as Ready Player One. As surveillance moves us to real-world pre-crime, this classic hits the mark.
