If you like horses, Dream Horse is a tearjerker about a long wed couple's chipping in with neighbors to sponsor a racehorse. The film is full of slice of life drama that makes it more interesting than your regular sappy horse-bonding movie. It's a Welsch Lean on Pete. Collette is nearly unrecognizable with her accutely performed accent. An alternative sports movie that circumvents expectations.
