「Historical Adventure」1492・コロンブス　Dan Knightonさんの映画レビュー（感想・評価）

Ridley Scott's retelling of the Columbus voyage is high-calibur historical reenactment. Columbus mostly exists as caricature but the simplified tale of Westward expansion shows the grim history we have evolved from. As far as costume and production design goes, there aren't many films that have exceeded the effort put forth here. A critical dud but still a film that shouldn't be lost in the sands.
